We had booked the hotel including half board with a travel voucher. The room was very nice with a large sitting area and a very nice balcony. The bathroom was also very large, a drawback was the bathtub without a shower curtain (problems with showering). We had a reserved seat for breakfast and dinner - that was very good, the annoying search for a seat was eliminated. There was a large parking area in front of the house, and there was always a free parking space for our car. The breakfast was very good, but in the evening the 5 course menu as part of the half board was even better. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We can recommend the hotel without reservation.

Based on the good reviews, my family and I went to eat there tonight. Unfortunately we were very disappointed ... the conditions were very friendly and the atmosphere very cozy, but unfortunately the food did not live up to its high prices. The schnitzel and fries were dripping with fat and the steak was very squishy and dry ... once and never again.

We had been looking forward to it for the whole day, unfortunately it was very disappointing. The food was too greasy and instead of everyone getting their fried potatoes with their woodcutter steak, I had to share one with my husband. After confused questions, that fits. The setvice was nice but it took forever until we even got the drinks. It's a shame price / performance ratio is unfortunately not right here

We were guests at the Hotel Döttelbacher Mühle for 6 days (with a voucher). Have been found very friendly. Room and bathroom good size and very clean. The beds are comfortable too. Every morning we got a bottle of water. Breakfast and dinner fresh and tasty. All the staff friendly and accommodating. Special requests were met. Nice walks directly from the hotel. We will be back. Greetings to the whole team and stay healthy.

Very friendly staff, here the boss and the boss cook themselves (meet almost every wish in terms of food)! Delicious food and reasonable prices for the drinks! Comfortable, somewhat older furnishings in the rooms, but they still serve their purpose well! Free wifi! TV with plenty of channels! Located directly on a busy street, but you don't notice it from the second night! We'd love to come back again!

Unfriendly person and they didn't even have coffee

We were here for six days and completely satisfied. Everyone was very friendly, our room was very large and clean. Since we had half board, our five point rating was an important point. In Corona times, instead of the usual buffet, we were able to tick all our meal requests on a "buffet list" and these were then brought to our table in an appetizing manner. For dinner, the half-board included a five-course menu with a choice of two main dishes. Delicious every day.

For the prices of the meals, the food is simply mediocre. The owner is friendly and attentive, yet something with the preparation and taste left me questioning the justification of of the pricing across the whole menu.
